Movie 7:  A movie showing how ants can be compared to fluids

Figure 14:  Ants are poured from a teapot into a teacup.  When fire ants are gathered into a group, they exhibit fluid like properties such as being able to flow from one container to another.

Movie 8:  Fire ants are scooped out of a bucket containing a floating fire ant colony and placed into a separate container.  Note how the ants “appear to be dripping” off the ladle that is used to scoop them out of the bucket.
